Will Rain gods help RCB in qualifying for playoffs?

In the first of today’s double-header in the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Rajasthan Royals (RR) cross swords with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Both teams find themselves in a precarious position and need to win the match in order to fathom any chance of progression to the playoffs.

The tournament has been topsy-turvy for both sides owing to which they have strained to maintain any sort of consistency in their respective campaigns.

However, RCB has managed to come back strong with three victories in succession.

They were clinical in the all the departments and hit their straps just when they seemed dead and buried having required winning all of their last four league matches.

RR also picked up form in their last few matches courtesy of Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer’s brilliance.

Nevertheless, the franchise won’t be having the services of the former and have to restructure their combination. In order to perform well,

Ajinkya Rahane’s men need to take the field with a zeal to overpower their opponents provided they wish to give themselves an outside chance of qualification.

Hot and dry weather
As per reports in Accuweather, the weather is forecasted to be hot as the temperature is expected to hover between 37 degrees Celsius to 43 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the humidity isn’t speculated to be on the higher side with the numbers between 10 percent and 12 percent.

Most importantly, there are no chances of rain, which is one delightful news for the players and the fans of the teams.

Overall verdict
The dew factor won’t play much of an impact and that is unlikely to alter the playing conditions much. However, the players need to intake fluids from time to time in order to beat the heat.
