CSK star player shares a horrifying picture of his injury

Mitchell Santner, the all-rounder from New Zealand has revealed horrifying stitches on his leg. Everything was good smooth and steady for the Kiwi all-rounder until he played the 5th ODI match against the Three Lions. A few weeks back, he was handed his first Indian Premier League (IPL) contract, and that too from one of the most consistent sides, Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

However, the joy didn’t last long enough for him, as while playing an ODI against England, Santner felt a strong discomfort in his leg.

Later on, the scan reports revealed that Santner is suffering from a bone defect, because of which it is of utmost importance for him to opt for a knee surgery.

As a result, Santner will have to sit on the sidelines for a minimum of six to a maximum of nine months.

The 26-year-old from Hamilton revealed the stitches on his leg on Instagram, and the picture has left everyone scared. The caption of the image reads “Happy Easter! #tourderehab”.

The New Zealand fans want him to be fit and healthy before the all-important ICC Cricket World Cup which is coming up next year.
